Promenading on the Fine Line

Oftentimes when I shoot a multitude of pictures at once, hoping to get a the "perfect" composition, I usually end up choosing the first shot I took. It's funny how that works, because the first shot I take is usually the tester photo--something I don't take the time to think about. I spend more time on the next couple shots, composing and recomposing and changing the subjects when I can.
At the end of the day, I wonder to myself why I spend so much time after the initial shot when that's the only shot I like.

Perhaps the best shots are the purest, in every essence of the word.
