Promenading on the Fine Line

Art, music, appreciation.

You know what grinds my gears to its very core?

People boastfully complaining, "I knew this before it got all popular, biznitchesss. Y'all lame, 'cause y'all are just jumpin' on the hype! SMH."

Shut the eff up. I cringe at such immature thoughts. You think you're cool or something? You think you're special and have more right to enjoy such pieces than the the person who just discovered it?
Music and art is TIMELESS and appreciated by all. So what if the said person is "late?" Can't you just accept the fact that more and more people are enjoying what you love? Shoot. You should be happy for them and that the artist is gaining more recognition and popularity. You don't like people denigrating it? The most important thing is that YOU find enjoyment in it, not others. Forget the others. If it makes you happy, then GO FOR IT; who cares what others think about it?

Just something I've been noticing mainly in music, mostly in mainstream music. Especially in house music, because it's slowly integrating itself in recent social media via commercials, pop culture, latest songs, etc when the genre existed many years ago. Even on Adele's videos, people be criticizing others and saying, "lol you're so slow and such a loser for finding her NOW; I listened to her before she became popular."
Just leave the newcomers alone and let them revel in such perpetual delicacies.
